One of the main goals of the Sprint Series is to
introduce the sport of adventure racing to beginners. Each
race covers the basic elements of a longer Adventure Race (mountain
biking, hiking/trekking, paddling, and orienteering), however,
the Sprint Series races are only 2 to 4 hours long. This
gives the first timer a chance to experience an Adventure Race
without the additional training needed for longer races.
