Sprint Race Finale: September 22
The2007 Sprint Race Series finale will be held on September 22nd at the Sandia Peak Ski Area. NMARC is excited to offer its first event at the ski area and would like to thank Sandia Peak for allowing us to utilize a great venue! This race will include the two elements of trekking (running) and mountain biking with navigation to checkpoints. The maximum alloted time to complete this race will be six hours. There will be a mystery event which will challenge the mind. Be able to navigate with a map and plot checkpoints using a UTM system. Solo racers and teams of two, which may be male, female or coed, are the allowable entries. The deadline for registration is September 20th. Pre-race check-in will be at 7:15 a.m. and race start will be 8:00 a.m. To register online, click here.
